Outstanding Service Project Awards

The Outstanding Service Project (OSP) awards recognized National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society chapters that made significant service contributions at the local level. With more than 27,000 active chapters, it is estimated that millions of hours of service are performed each year by Honor Society members.

The OSP awards were established in 1994 to recognize chapters who have made a significant impact through service. Previously, five NHS and Five NJHS projects are selected for this recognition each year. Chapters are also encouraged to submit their full project description to the National Student Project Database to share with other chapters.

The OSP awards will be back next academic year, 2021–22.

The NJHS recipients of the 2020 awards can be found here.
